Calling Beech Grove, IN home, the band of five took its name from the famous Cab Calloway sing-a-long.
The spirit of that song is the foundation for the loose, fun atmosphere that is an evening with the band.
With a song list that leans on classic 70’s rock, the sets also contain plenty of dance, audience participation and ballads, that keep the dance floor full all night.
Never tied down to a set list, the evening can take twists and turns to flow with the crowd. It’s all about the audience having fun and enjoying a night of classic rock tunes that are sure to rekindle good memories and make new ones.

We’re an American Band
Vince Kinman (Lead Vocals) Coming a long way from singing the National Anthem before high school games, Vince is the consummate front man and focal point of the band. Singing songs from AC/DC to James Brown to Chicago, his biggest strength is connecting with the audience from the first note and keeping everyone in party mode. After a successful run with the Time Travelers, Vince took some time off, before forming the Moochers.
Kim Linn (Drums, vocals)
Kim brings to the Moochers over 30 years of experience playing with many groups throughout Central Indiana. Kim's Musical tastes are well diverse and he brings a great deal of ideas for the Moochers to expand its music in the months to come.
Bruce Miller (Guitar and Vocals)
Bruce has been playing music, writing music and singing his entire life. He spent the next 35 years after college traveling extensively and playing music full time. Notable regional and local bands he performed with were Fine Line, John Doe, and Time Machine. Bruce took a sabbatical from the stage to be sound engineer for many national acts, and toured extensively with the Four Tops and The Temptations. High Energy and guitar riffs to match will be on display.
Richard Hettenvan (Bass / Vocals) Richard has been a professional musician for more years than he wants to (or can) remember. In his years as a musician, Richard has been a member of several local bands in and around the Indianapolis area including Webb, Nicky and the Blades, Five Easy Pieces, Sun Trace, Boss Tweed and The Thunder Brothers. Richard has also toured with several national acts including The Coasters, The Drifters, The Platters, Maxine Nightingale, John Ford Coley, Tony DeFranco, Gallery and Al Wilson.
